Transposable Element Simulation

Interactive simulation of transposable elements in a genome with up to two configurable TE types (up to one non-autonomous TE) and up to three gene subtypes (e.g. ORF, promoter, enhancer). The composition of genes and their associated fitness impact can be adjusted. Configure TE parameters including length, death rate, excision rate and progeny distribution. TEs can be class I (copy-and-paste) or class II (cut-and-paste). Adjust parameters using the sliders below and run the simulation to observe TE dynamics.
