About Me

Though I have many interests, I am a bioinformatician by training and passion. I believe my work stands out largely due to my interdisciplinary background, which includes biochemistry, mathematics and computer science. Through more unconventional experiences such as building a house and guiding wilderness expeditions in Northern Ontario, I have developed a deep appreciation for how interconnected life and science can be. I am deeply optimistic about the global impacts of leveraging computational approaches to solve complex biological problems, and enjoy discussing the topic.
